This is my Story

Care Sorted didn’t come from a business plan. It came from sitting at the kitchen table thinking, “Surely this shouldn’t be this confusing?”

I’ve spent years in healthcare. I understand systems, acronyms, how things are supposed to work. But when my mum was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s, everything felt different.

Suddenly I wasn’t the professional, I was the daughter trying to keep up.

Trying to understand what to do next.
Trying to stay one step ahead.
Trying not to miss something important.

And honestly? Even with my background… it was a lot.

There were forms I didn’t know existed. Conversations I didn’t realise we needed to have. Decisions that felt way too big to be making on the fly.

I remember thinking, how is everyone else figuring this out?
